Please obtain the books yourself. If a book is out of stock or expensive, we recommend using a university or public library. Calil, a nationwide library catalogue search service, is very convenient.
All lectures are designed for participants who are reading the work for the first time. Beginners can join with complete confidence.
We record all sessions and share them with participants, so you are welcome to register even if you cannot attend every session. Recordings are shared within half a day after each lecture.

The registration deadline is 12:00 noon on the final day of the lecture.
You can watch recordings of lectures you have attended indefinitely.
We do not require participants to answer questions, engage in peer dialogue, or take part in Q&A with the lecturer. Questions can be asked via Zoom chat or audio at any time, but simply listening or watching is perfectly fine. Please join in whatever way is most comfortable for you.
You cannot register for the live course once it has ended, but if the lecture is available on demand you can register and watch the recording.
Students can take part in eligible lectures at a 30% discount. Both live and on-demand lectures can be eligible. Each lecturer decides whether their own lecture takes part, so not every lecture is eligible. Once your student verification is complete, eligible lectures show the discounted price on their page.
Go to your profile, then Account → Student verification. • If you registered with an academic address (.ac.jp, waseda.jp and similar) Simply switch student verification on. It is not enabled automatically. • If you registered with any other address, Enter your name and institution. We will review it and enable verification. You set your own expiry date, up to four years ahead. Verification lapses automatically once that date passes, so please renew it while you are still studying.
